If government offices would take the time to stop and think about how much paper and ink they waste every day, they would be shocked. As an intern I go and make copies and file documents and the waste is so bad that I just want to take everyone on a fieldtrip back to my high school. We couldn't even print more than three pages a day even if we didn't have a computer at home and each extra sheet was 10 cents each. Color... more »

Over stocked supply rooms, Give to Education

I’ve noticed that supplies are often stocked and forgotten after its initial necessity. It’s time to clean out the supply rooms; file cabinets and office draws that are no longer in use.

As we go green, removing old file folders, binders, etc… these items can be re-used as well. Save the paper clips.

MAKE GYM CLASS MANDATORY for K-12 GRADE STUDENTS

If we instill in children the importance of being physically active at a young age they will be more likely to have a healthier life style in adult hood. This will save money in healthcare cost because there will be less medical problems due to weight problems.

RECESS on the ROOF = more SPACE, more PROTECTION

Some schools take up more space than the school yard where children play. Adding fences and walls on the roof of schools not only allow for more space for children to run around in but also adds protection to children in dangerous neighborhoods where stray bullets are not out of the ordinary.
