Instead of business cards, use email or a phone app

Printed or engraved business cards cost $35 to $65 per person, per pack of 250 cards. Do-it-yourself business cards using US gov printed logo paper stock cost at least $10 per per person per 250 pre-printed logo cards.

No one actually saves business cards in 2011 -- there are no rolodexes, no card files, no paper files for that matter.

Eliminate paper business cards. Use electronic signatures and EMAIL. For several years now, when I've been asked for card, I ask - "what is your EMAIAL address?" I then send an EMAIL on the spot with my Blackberry which includes my signature which is all of my contact info. Much less expensive, espedient, and effective.
