Mr. President,

The thought that you, as Chief Ececutive, would allow Homeland Security to spend upwards of $40MM (so I'm told) to change component acronyms (OI-HSI and DRO-ERO) in the present economy for what appears to be the sake of "branding" is inexcusable. Stop giving away date or event specific products.

Branding is sometimes effective. But ordering products with a specific date or event printed on the side is a bad idea. Shirts with mention of a specific conference, bags with the name of an event...these all end up at Goodwill. Government products (if any) should be general and useable at ANY function. Same goes for letterhead.
