With FY12 looming and we are trying to be conservative with spending, I would suggest that everyone use their electronic calendar instead of ordering/re-ordering Franklin Covey calendars and refills. Advantage to using the electronic calendar it isaccessible whenever you are logged into your Outlook email. Be Green-Print Only When Necessary

Federal Government agencies use millions of pieces of paper per day.

 

There should be reminders around the offices to "Be Green-Print Only When Necessary."

 

The federal government could save milions of dollars per year by eliminating many of the unnecessary print jobs on a daily basis.

Save Paper & Go Green

SSA began going paperless seven years ago, but we still use and waste an awful lot of paper. For example, in order for us to store documents that we have created (ie: an SSA-4268 created during a work CDR) in the electronic claims folder we have to print the document out, create a bar code for it (which also needs to be printed), and then fax it into the folder.
