I WOULD LIKE FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO GIVE ME MY RETIREMENT IN FULL WHEN I RETIRE AND IF I DIE BEFORE MY RETIREMENT FUNDS RUN OUT THEN THEY WILL BE ENTITLED TO HAVE THE REMAINING FUNDS AND OR ASSETS TO BALANCE THOSE ENTITLEMENTS. HOW MANY YEARS OF RETIREMENT FUNDS THAT I WOULD RECEIVE IN A LUMP SUM WOULD BE DETERMINED BY MY EXPECTED YEARS OF LIFE THAT I HAVE REMAINING.

Buy gas in bulk, credit it to gas stations to credit it back to the government driving government vehicles. This eliminates goverment gas dispensers.
Bridge and highway costs cannot be skimped. Deaths from avoidable structure failures are unacceptable. This is a matter of national safety. Corrections and rush jobs to patch after the fact are too costly.
I live in a state that allows us to select an electrical power generator outside state boundaries. Our local company maintains the power lines and does the billing, but we actually buy our electricity from a generator several states away and it costs about 30% less. Why can't my office do the same thing?
When an employee is required to get a physical for their job, use the employees federal health insurance to pay for it. Then have the agency pick up the copay or remainder that is not covered. The government pays twice for employee physicals. Paying for physical & helath benefits too. DOT is not the only agency that requires employee physicals.
Every month a DOT representative is sent to the Atlanta Sam Nunn Federal Building with the sole purpose of personally handing me and numerous others our monthly transit passes. This practice is also conducted in other Atlanta locations and in other states. This practice could be eliminated by delegating this authority to someone in the financial divisions of the local departments/agencies.

When buying or replacing computer and electronics invest on Energy Star qualified products only. Do you know that If all computers sold in the US met ENERGY STAR requirements, the savings in energy costs would grow to $1.8 billion each year, reducing greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those from more than 2 million vehicles!
King Salmon, AK has a population of 442. A town of this size does not need an Air Traffic Control Tower. King Salmon Air Traffic Control Tower is a remnant of the Cold War era Air Force Station. The Air Force Station has been mothballed for several years. By FAA standards the operations count at King Salmon Air Traffic Control Tower does not justify it's continued operation.
