Legislative Branch

Use assets to cover liabilities.

The federal government is bankrupt. The assets of the federal government should be used to cover its liabilities. All federal land from land management agencies within the Department of Agriculture and Department of Interior should be turned over to the states to fund the Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid liabilities. Have the states form a committee that will use the land and the income it creates to fund reorganized Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid programs that are directed by the states. Let the states decide how to fund these programs and what to do with the land. Get the federal government completely out of these programs.
