US Government Federal Agencies are required to submit this report annually to OMB. Format is standardized on topics to cover. Budget and financial performance data is also included in report. What appears to be missing is "Cost Savings Results." Requiring each Federal agency to include this could summarize facts on actions to reduce budgets and not continuously growing budgets. OMB staff would have quick look area in PARS that summarize results of budget reductions and efficiencies with associated dollars being reduced. Suire, inflation adds to budget costs but there can be internal management controls implemented to reduce budgets. I've worked the DoD Manager's Internal Control Program for over 20 years. This proposal makes sense to me.
