Postal Service

Save the Post Office & Stop Home Delivery

The Postal Service spends an extraordinary amount on home delivery this requires the mail couriers for delivery and the gas to cover an entire city. Moving the mailbox to the post office would reduce delivery time, reduce expenses, reduce the environmental impact, and increase security for the customer. This is done by giving an individual address one basic P.O. Box. Any larger size P.O. Box will still have their regular rate and if the customer wishes to receive larger packages, they can sit in a large bin inside the postal office.

The community post office will increase foot traffic of customer allowing for exposure to other product reducing advertising cost. An increase of customer traffic will also create personal identification with the service.

Three main designs can reduce the congestion of active service:

- The corridor a traditional linear design

- The Wagon Wheel

- The Circular Design
