Reduce Federal Health Care Costs by Not Serving Unhealthy Food

USG contributions to employee health insurance costs are massive and could be reduced by having a healthier workforce. A healthier workforce would mean lower premiums and USG contributions. One available means by which the federal government could easily promote health it its workforce and thereby reduce health expenditures--without changing health benefits--is to only sell healthy food at federal buildings (cafeterias, vending machines, etc.). Food that does not pass minimum "health" criteria would not be served. Selling junk food and fatty food at federal buildings only increased the USG health care liabilities for its employees' insurance plans.
