Many Federa Employees charge their personal electronic devices while at work. They should pay for a monthly or annual "pass" to allow them to charge their device at work.
Current practices are a theft of service and is costing the Federal Government many hundreds of millions of dollars a year. Simple math would show how much a cell phone costs to charge, multiplied by the number of employees who likely do this, multiplied by the energy costs.
The employees who purchase a "pass" could have a sticker on their phone, or a plackard at their desk, showing that they have paid their dues.
Charging personal devices at work is a benefit that most people would dismiss, but the Fed Gov is footing this bill on a daily basis. Having a "pass" program could recoup some of these wasted costs.
