I know we have an email system that we can utilize for submitting IT requests, or we can call in, which I'm sure most people do. The problem comes when we get an email saying that we called in, and then no one shows up for awhile to fix our issue. I think it would be easier if there were a tracking system that we could log into to submit requests; and then we could track how long it's going to take for someone to assist us. It can also have some trouble-shooting for the easy problems like something on word or excel. And, it can also have the paperwork needed to submit laptop, black-berry, or other requests, so that they dont have to be emailed to us; it can pre-populate with the information from our particular program office. This will cut doen on the amount of time spent handling small issues and improve efficiency.
