I work for the Social Security Administration. Every day I process claims through several systems and frequently the claims information is printed out, even when I don't need a printout. We waste hundreds of sheets of paper on a daily basis. For an agency that is supposed to be "paperless", I feel this is wrong. We should be given the option of whether to print or not to print on all of our systems. This would allow us to save paper, be a "greener" agency, and cut down on the costs of paper, toner, and shredding.
