If I had a nickel for every worthless email I received sent to everyone in the organization I’d retire this year a wealthy man. Email “spamming” everyone in an organization with perishable information is a common practice used multiple times a day (weather warnings, bake sales, employee training classes, etc.) by countless individuals. While practical in very specific cases, this ability should be restricted to Directors/Commanders, the sender should be forced to utilize the expiration date/time function MS Outlook provides (so unread emails automatically disappear from boxes for those people who are on leave, TDY, deployed, or home for the weekend).
