Color blind test for Law Enforcement

Every time I go in for my Federal Law Enforcement physical I get the Color Blind eye test. The Doctor said you are either born color blind or not so this test should only be given at the pre-employment physical. Who knows how much money is wasted on this test annually when Law Enforcment Agents are re-tested for color blindness.
