The thought that you, as Chief Ececutive, would allow Homeland Security to spend upwards of $40MM (so I'm told) to change component acronyms (OI-HSI and DRO-ERO) in the present economy for what appears to be the sake of "branding" is inexcusable. All of the badges, logos, uniforms, stationary and business cards, signs, powerpoint presentations and materials used to teach, organizational charts, flags, etc. that make up that "cost of change" was more than the difference needed to avoid furlough a few months ago. It is wasteful and an abuse of public trust if that figure is accurate. That should be investigated. We need meaningful change, not new "branding."
