Fire/kick out worthless people

The military, and likely all government positions are staffed by a lot of good, hard working people. There are also a lot of worthless people who do nothing but show up to work and collect a paycheck. Enforce the ratings system, and kick out worthless dirtbags. Electronic Notebooks to replace paper, notebooks and travel

Replace the use of lab notebooks, journals, notes, texts, handouts, etc. with the use of electronic notebooks/tablets. The elimination of such items would save in paper costs as well as make databases more accessable. Disallow High Level “Leaders” Alternate Work Schedules

Several DoD/Military bases have implemented “alternate work schedules” (AWS) that allow workers to work 9-hour days (5-4-9) and “earn” every other Friday off. I’m all for morale-boosting programs for the WORKERS. Unfortunately, certain select high-salaried “managers”, “supervisors”, and “officers” are allowed to take advantage of this as well.
