SAVE PAPER/TIME BY ALLOWING VETERANS ACCESS TO MEDICAL RECORDS

I would like to propose that we allow the Veteran to have access to their own medical record electronically. Currently the Veterans' have to ask Release of Information to make copies for them which is very inefficient not to mention frustrating. Since the records are electronic it should be just a simple matter to allow the access via their home computers. With the appropriate security measures in place. Like they ...more »

Mandatory Electronic Travel Records for all Government Travel

Eliminate billions of paper files by making it mandatory for all government agency workers using the “GovTrip” travel program to upload all documents as PDFs onto the server, thereby creating a single source for all government travel documents. Government shuttle bus

Expand the existing government shuttle bus system to more government agencies/offices in the Washington DC metro area. This will reduce costs (such as use of taxis) and save staff time in getting to other agencies for meetings, etc.

The lower numbered/lettered tabs often run out, while the office has a surplus of unneeded tabs with the higher numbers/letters. If the suppliers provided packages with more 1-3s and A-Cs and fewer of the rest, there would be less wasted paper and less wated ...more »

Promoting preventive health care

Allow the GW mammovan onto the Pennsylvania Avenue pedestrian mall 1-2 (or more) times/year to encourage EEOB and Treasury female staff to have mammograms, and to do so without taking the extra time and using leave that would be needed to go to another facility.
