I worked in the Regional Office in Atlanta. There are too many people who walk around and do nothing compared to what is being done in the field offices. Those people are GS-13 and up. Why do you feel a need to have so many high grade individual and there is no work to justify. Those people can have long lunches, go shopping and do just about anything they want because of the lack of work If you do a survey, you ...more »

We should eliminate the Totalization Agreements we have with other countries. Most people live outside the U.S. and don't even spend the money we send them here in our country. If anything, we should pay them back the FICA tax they paid in and not pay out monthly benefits.

We use special storage and archive boxes to store our paper files - but they get thrown out after one use and then new ones are bought - we can either use the boxes that the copier paper comes in (which get thrown out also) and/or reuse the special boxes with a new label
The guys from the mailroom bring me stacks of the NIH Record and the Receration News Paper and no one in my office reads either one. I think these should not be printed on paper they should be sent thru email. I toss them in recycle every week un-read.
We should follow the lead of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene by only serving healthy food choices at our federal agencies. There should be more vegetarian and vegan options availble in our cafeterias. Serving more fruits and vegetables is also more cost-effective than serving meats, chicken, etc. Since you "are what you eat", if agencies only served healthy food options (that taste good), then employees ...more »
