Government employees are waiting to pick up work at home hopelessly, contractor is a fast and wasteful and lazy way to get man power, big spending in billions of dollars in wars and FEMA and jobs aren't completed is the government failure, who can take the corrective actions? Its hard to get everyone to agree on something, but at some time all the programs that we have were "Good Ideas". Instead of trying to figure out what to cut and what to keep. Cut every program by 5%. Maybe my numbers are off, but I think that would save somewhere around 7 Trillion over the next 10 years. My idea which is already in affect in a handful of VAMC-fire departments. The i dea i hev is that all Veteran Affairs Fire departments should be required to provude to the servicing medical center and the veterans of such Ambulance transportation instead of primarily utilizing private transport ambulance companies which increas the cost of transports for VAMC patients because it is guaranteed payment.
