At the Suitland Federal Center, the grassy fields that could be used for exercise, walking, and sports are OFF LIMITS per GSA. There is no explanation as to why there are DO NOT WALK signs on the grassy fields. Employees are forced to jog and play sports in the harder to get to and less safe surrounding neighborhood, which takes more time away from exercise. Take the 'DO NOT WALK' signs off the fields and open them up to exercise for increased fitness, happier employees, and lower health care costs.
