Our agency has Video Service Delivery Equipment in Central Office, Regional Offices, ODAR and many Field Offices. I propose the government find more efficient uses for this equipment. Currently, our region is using the equipment to fill positions that could not be filled due to budget constraints. However, if more field offices had the equipment, Immediate Claims Taking Units could assist with walk in traffic (with a plan in place of course).

 

I also believe this equipment may be a viable plan to save on travel for our washington leaders. Instead of the taxpayers paying the cost of travel every week back and forth to Washington, let the government officials meet face to face utilizing technology.
