Consider the benefits provided to Members of Congress. Members of the Senate serve just one term in office and receive a pension--federal employees must serve the people of the United States of America for 30 years in order to receive a pension. Members of Congress--both House and Senate, receive expense accounts for which they are not accountable. Expense accounts should be established on a reimburseable system. There should be a list of reimburseable expenses, and they should have to provide receipts much like the federal employees do to be reimbursed rather than an open expense account.
