In my area of Cincinnati we have at least the VA, ATF, DEA, IRS and who knows what else. We have DESKTOP people that sit and do little of nothing from time to time. Others are worked to the bone and leave nearly bleading at times. Why doesnt the FED have standardization of Equipment and Softwares and centralize DESKTOP HELP areas into one central location. There are many benfits to this including scheduling. Replenishments throghout an area could be accomplished 10 times faster because of the additional employees trained in how to do it along with many other advantanges such as ALLOT OF DESKTOP FUNCTIONS CAN BE ROLLED OUT and do not even require an ONSITE visit to accomplish task or fix a problem.
