Within agencies and between agencies there are often short-term human resource, IT, internal control and procurement needs from start-up or reorganization activities. There are departments and government staff that have developed efficient processes to address these functions.
By putting together Efficiency Response Teams with the expertise to come in to assist other divisions or agencies , the government could save money and create more streamlined processes that have proven track records. This idea would also promote professional development goals for government staff by giving them an opportunity to use their expertise or processes they developed to help other divisions or agencies and learn new applications for their work.
