Translation & Interpretation of Foreing Languages.
We have spent millions of dollars in paying private companies to translate foreign documents, or, to serve as interpreters for our clientele. We could have save all of these expenses by: (1) implementing a plan to use our in-house bilingual employees; (2) establish a procedure to enforce the above plan within each federal agency.
All bi-lingual employees were hired for not only their knowledge in the field, but also for their proficiency in their own language. I, myself, have been interpreting and tranlating French and Vietnamese for our agency. And, it has been an honor for me to be able to use my language skills daily all these years.
